Spring is coming!

Sunshine and flowers are back... We let you our advices to enjoy this season.

This Saturday 20th March marks a major milestone: winter is over, and spring is here! The flowers are blooming, the vegetation is greening up, the birds are singing... We'll leave you our most beautiful spots to enjoy this colourful season.

1. The public garden of Villedieu-les-Poêles
Looking for a moment of calm and greenery? Take a break in the public garden of the "cité sourdine". The daffodils and pansies have just come into bloom. Read with one of the books available in the book shed, while the children enjoy the playground... Ideal for a snack break on the way home from school!

2. A picnic at Mount Robin
Get some height and breathe the fresh air of the Normandy bocage! Its panoramic view gives you a special look at the vegetation of the south of France. Stroll along the hiking trail, accompanied by Norman cows in the pastures... If you are lucky, you may find the few primroses that are just emerging.

3. A visit to Vaudinet Gardens
From 23 April, discover the colourful garden of Marcel Vanhove, located in Percy-en-Normandie. This enthusiast will show you his most beautiful plants, from shrubs to various flowers. And if you feel like it, take a few minutes to picnic on the spot for a moment of calm in the heart of nature.

4. A day in the forest of Saint-Sever
The vegetation of the forest is back! 30 minutes from Villedieu-les-Poêles, discover from April 2nd a unique site: l'Etape en Forêt. This site offers several activities to make the most of the Saint-Sever forest: a tree climbing course with a zip line, playgrounds, conventional mountain bikes and electric bikes, beach volleyball and beach soccer fields... And even unusual accommodation.

5. A stop at the Montbray pond
A few kilometres from Villedieu-les-Poêles, in the heart of the Normandy countryside, the small village of Montbray welcomes you with its pond located at the entrance to the village. Ideal for a family stroll, a break or to get away from it all... Don't hesitate to explore the village, its church will surprise you!

6. The extra : The Guibel Bridge
Because we never have too many ideas, we leave you with our little extra: the Guibel bridge. Located in the commune of Le Tanu, this viaduct is well known to the locals who appreciate it for its green setting. For the connoisseurs, there are many edible plants, such as meadowsweet for example... We appreciate this place even in summer thanks to its shady side and the coolness of its river!
