If sewing is in vogue, discover another skill in the art of threading which has marked the history of Villedieu-les-Poêles since the 18th century: lace. There are two essential sites where you can discover its history and practise it if you feel like it: the Poeslerie Museum & Lacemaker's House, and the Lace School. Torchon, Cluny, Danish or Bayeux lace will no longer hold any secrets for you!
